The Quebec Minister of Economy and Innovation Highlights Syntax's Growth and International Success Français
Announced on January 22nd and 24th, Syntax's double acquisition of foreign companies has drawn the attention of the technology community worldwide. Today, the Quebec Minister of Economy and Innovation came to visit company headquarters
MONTRÉAL, March 18, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - Syntax Systems ("Syntax") is honoured to welcome Mr. Pierre Fitzgibbon, Quebec Minister of Economy and Innovation, to highlight the company's acquisitions, Freudenberg IT (FIT) and EmeraldCube Solutions, during a joint press conference at company headquarters today. These companies will enable Syntax to build itself up as an international leader offering multi-cloud and multi-ERP solutions, as well as improve its Oracle JD Edwards offering. The strategic acquisition of FIT became official after 6 weeks of customary approvals.

At the press conference, Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy and Innovation and Minister Responsible for the Lanaudière Region added, "Quebec and its metropolis are locations that favour the development of information and communications technology as well as companies that are active in this cutting-edge sector. Syntax is demonstrating this by acquiring two international companies and continuing its growth. This is a great example of a Quebec company that is distinguishing itself internationally and promoting our expertise throughout the world. Also present at the press conference was Pascal Tremblay, President and Managing Director of Novacap, a private equity firm that supplied equity financing for Syntax's two recent acquisitions. He highlighted these strategic investments and thanked the Fonds de Solidarité FTQ, which was an invaluable ally during the process.
