TORONTO, April 24, 2014 /CNW/ - The Mars Agency, the leader in next generation shopper marketing, officially announces the addition of Derek Joynt, the new senior vice president and general manager as well as Jan Ferguson, its new vice president of client leadership of The Mars Agency's Toronto office. The Canadian business is expecting solid growth throughout the rest of the year and has already expanded their shopper marketing client base.
Bringing on Derek Joynt to run the Toronto office will be instrumental in meeting expectations across the board. He has a valuable combination of agency, retail and client experience that drives sustainable growth and innovation. Most recently, he was a partner and vice president at an experiential agency where he led corporate strategy, and prior to that he was the director of marketing at Walmart.
