The Honourable Marc Garneau Meets With Researchers Who Fight Against Cancer Français

MONTRÉAL, July, 27, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Researchers from the Institute of Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) of the Université de Montréal were proud to greet on July 27th, the Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport and Member of Parliament for NDG/Westmount. Mr. Garneau, being a passionate scientist, responded to the invitation of researchers from his riding and took the opportunity to visit some laboratories and scientific platforms. Researchers also discussed of the advancement of research in cancer treatments but also the importance of fundamental research and issues pertaining to its financing.
