Grand opening of the Mosaïcultures Internationales Montréal 2013 - Land of Hope

MONTREAL, June 21, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Today marked the grand opening of the event: Mosaïcultures Internationales Montréal 2013 - Land of Hope (MIM2013) at the Montreal Botanical Garden. For this occasion, several dignitaries and senior officials gathered before an audience of over 1000 guests, to launch this larger-than-life horticultural art exhibition, including Mr. Pascal Bérubé, minister for tourism, Mr. Yasutomo Suzuki, the mayor of Hamamatsu, Mr. Ghislain Picard, chief of the Assembly of First Nations of Quebec and Labrador, Mr. Louis L. Roquet, chairman of the Board of Directors of Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal, Ms. Lise Cormier, president of the International Mosaiculture Committee, Mr. Charles-Mathieu Brunelle, director of Space for Life and Mr. Gilles Vincent, director of the Montreal Botanical Garden.
