MONTREAL, May 6, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Jack Saloon Vieux-Montréal is preparing an exciting program for its first ever Formula 1 Grand-Prix. From June 4-6, JS will be the city's best place to rock and roll and celebrate!
Thursday, June 4: Festivities kick off with the second edition of Cool Rebels, the Grand-Prix's spectacular Off Ball black carpet, based on an original concept by Felipe del Pozo. Last year, this extraordinary cocktail hour brought together the best of the artistic, athletic, fashion, media and business communities. Among the many celebrities in attendance were boxer Jean Pascal, former Montréal Canadiens' player Mario Tremblay, comedian Peter MacLeod and singer Jonas. This year we look forward to exclusive performances from Steve Hill, Les Respectables, Paul Deslauriers, DJ Frigid and DJ Laflèche.
Friday, June 5: World-renowned model Ève Salvail will be our deejay for the evening. She is known for her collaborations with designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, as well as for her roles in the Fifth Element, Zoolander, Celebrity, and Prêt-à-porter. She also appeared in the Lenny Kravitz music video, "Is there any love in your heart?" Travelling the world behind the decks, Salvail has been the master deejay for prestigious clients such as Maserati, Duran Duran, Diesel and Vogue. DJ Luc Raymond will also perform in the set.
Saturday, June 6: Jack Saloon Vieux-Montréal welcomes 21 Gun Salute, Canada's best AC/DC tribute band. With amazing precision, this band is able to recreate the rock and roll energy and offhandedness of the famous Australian group – from the crazy years of the late Ben Scott to the present style of Brian Johnson.
Since opening in September 2014, Jack Saloon Vieux-Montréal has established itself as the new temple of rock and roll, thunderous drinks and outstanding food. JS is a trashy saloon with attitude. Entering Jack Saloon's universe is like walking into a Quentin Tarantino movie. The second-floor restaurant offers fine food and wine in an original space with strong imagery. The show-bar is an audacious space on the first floor with a stage for shows and a luxury trash food counter.
