The gambler comes to town; Kenny Rogers performs at Fallsview Casino for Christmas & hits tour

NIAGARA FALLS, ON, Aug. 5, 2014 /CNW/ - Multiple Grammy Award-winner and Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, Kenny Rogers, celebrates his 33^rd Christmas & Hits Tour with four shows at Fallsview Casino. Audiences can expect to hear holiday classics and his biggest hits such as "White Christmas", "Mary, Did You Know", "Till The Season Comes Round Again", "Lady", "The Gambler", "Lucille" and his rendition of "Islands In The Stream".

Known for his instantly identifiable raspy vocals and an extraordinary ability to inhabit every song he performs, it's no wonder that Kenny Rogers has sold more than 120 million records worldwide and recorded more than 65 albums for over an impressive five decades in show business. 

The extremely gifted singer-songwriter has delivered over 24 #1 hits, 19 Platinum albums, 31 Gold albums, and is one of very few artists who have enjoyed successful careers in a wide-variety of genres including jazz, folk, rock, country and pop.

In 2000, Rogers became the oldest artist in chart history to have a #1 solo record with his hit album "She Rides Wild Horses". Rogers was also granted the prestigious Diamond award by the Recording Industry Association of America to celebrate over 10 million sales of his "Greatest Hits" album (now exceeding over 24 million sales), proving his talent is just as vibrant and meaningful as when he started.
