The future is friendly for at-risk youth in Jane-Finch programs
 
    
    WHO:    At-risk youth from the Jane-Finch neighbourhood will celebrate
            their success as they graduate from the General Educational
            Development (G.E.D.) and Literacy Upgrading programs run by
            Frontier College and JVS Toronto.
            The TELUS Toronto Community Board makes a donation of six new
            computers to upgrade the technology equipment for the students in
            support of the program.
    WHAT:   At-risk youth who otherwise might not continue their education
            graduate and celebrate their successes in completing the 9-week
            education program.
    WHERE:  Located within JVS Toronto's Youthinc. office in the Jane-Finch
            Mall, 1911 Finch Ave. West at Jane Street, southeast corner of
            the intersection. The site is a storefront office within the
            mall near Price Chopper.
    WHEN:   Friday, November 20th, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
    WHY:    To celebrate the students' accomplishments and the generous
            donation from the TELUS Toronto Community Board.
