TORONTO, Nov. 5, 2018 /CNW/ - The Colony Project has been named 2018 strategy PR agency of the Year Gold making it the second year in a row being recognized as the industry leading integrated PR agency in Canada.
The future is bright for The Colony Project. The three-year old PR agency and one of Canada's fastest growing PR start-ups received the award for its growing client roster and team, insight-driven campaigns producing business results and the desire to do things differently for some of Canada's biggest brands and rising start-ups.
In addition to the agency's rapid growth, the firm's work on The Common Good Project stood out to judges and strategy as a program that's pushing boundaries in the start-up space. After receiving no applications from female-led start-ups last year, this year The Common Good Project, an effort to support Canadian entrepreneurs in their pursuit of brand awareness, focused on female applicants. The result? The team received five times the number of applications during the program's second year. The program sparked meaningful conversation about female leadership in business.
In the last year, Colony has executed PR and social campaigns with new clients including Kraft Heinz, Louis Vuitton, Guinness World Records, Pizza Pizza, Connected and Medcan. As part of the Vision7 family, Colony's sister agency Cossette also received the title of strategy Agency of the Year for the third time in a row.
