MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 20 /CNW/ - George Media Inc. today celebrates the first anniversary of its cornerstone publication, The Canadian Business Journal (CBJ), by launching a special year-end double issue now available at www.canadianbusinessjournal.ca.
The first issue of The Canadian Business Journal was published online on November 4th, 2008, and this year's November/December issue celebrates the milestone by focusing on Canada as a leader in economic development through a difficult financial recession, and also features a report on Canada's forestry industry as well as a look at new forms of media.
"We have made some great friends over the past year," George Media Editor in Chief Sara Kopamees says. "Our interview with Brad Wall, Saskatchewan's premier, along with our meeting Stephen Harper at this year's Economic Edge event in Toronto, and our talks with the hundreds of CEOs representing the very best in Canadian business have all been milestone events in themselves. Each story has been produced to showcase what Canada has to offer the world-and George Media has been thrilled to bring those stories home."
George Media plans to launch the January issue of The Canadian Business Journal in mid-December, in time for the company's closing for the holidays. The UK and Canadian offices will both close on December 24th, and re-open on January 4th, 2010.
