MONTRÉAL, May 12, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The Cabaret du Casino de Montréal will finally reopen on September 3. In addition to restaurants, suspended bars and revamped gaming areas, an all-new show venue will further enhance the Cabaret's long list of attractions. Thanks to the exciting calendar planned for the Cabaret and Théâtre Le QUBE, the Casino de Montréal is set to host an exceptional array of shows and entertainment of all kinds.
"Many are eagerly awaiting the reopening of the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal. Our teams are busily working to get the first shows ready for the start of the cultural season in September," said a delighted Kevin Taylor, General Manager of the Casino.
In addition to the winning matinée and dinner-show formats, the Cabaret's hall can be scaled according to the needs of a variety of events and productions, including boxing galas, WSOP-style poker tournaments as well as private corporate or charitable events. Active on the entertainment scene for the past 20 years, Groupe Bazz will orchestrate event programming.
A whole host of shows coming up
Some of the biggest names in entertainment have already confirmed their appearance at the Cabaret du Casino, including André-Philippe Gagnon and Gino Vannelli, to name only the two.
Impersonator André-Philippe Gagnon, crowned artist of the year at 15th Star Awards last March 31, will perform his latest show: L'histoire du rock'n'roll. The "Man With 2,000 Voices" will bring together the voices of artists who have never before shared the same stage performing rock and roll hits from the 60s to today, from Bill Haley to the Bee Gees, Tracy Chapman, Elvis, Led Zeppelin, Barry White, Cat Stevens, The Beatles and even Susan Boyle.
Gino Vannelli is set to charm his audience with a versatile repertoire that straddles jazz, variety and progressive rock. Originally from Montréal, Gino has several Grammy nominations as well as a number of JUNO prizes and, like Stevie Wonder, he is considered an icon of 70s and 80s music. In celebration of the worldwide release of his new CD-DVD (Gino Vannelli Live in LA) by SRG/ILS/Universal Music, Gino Vannelli will sing his most memorable tunes and deliver a few surprises. His fans will be transported to a world of distinctive Gino melodies!
Some headliners have already been confirmed, while others will be announced shortly to fill up the Cabaret's performance schedule. Tickets for the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal are on sale now and, as always at the Casino, parking is free.
What's more, the all-new, unique and interactive programming of the Théâtre LE QUBE (theatreleqube.com), built on the site of the Casino de Montréal, will be added to the mix. Details will be revealed by Gregory Charles shortly.
"The Casino will showcase a variety of talented artists from different horizons who are eager to give their best performances," concluded Kevin Taylor.
