MONTREAL, April 22, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Gaz Métro is proud to introduce its new advertising campaign, "The Blue Effect." Officially launched on April 21, the campaign presents "blue" not only as an energy source, but also as a source of sustainable economic development. The Blue Effect is highlighting the economic and environmental advantages of natural gas, such as on the industrial and heavy transport sectors as well as its value in the transformation of organic matter into biomethane.
"For 10 years now, 'blue' has been the public face of natural gas," said Valérie Sapin, Marketing Director at Gaz Métro. "Many are familiar with Gaz Métro and the comfort of natural gas, but few know of its effectiveness for businesses, industries and all advantages to society. Natural gas is not only a source of energy, but also an immediate available solution to combine environment, economy and society."
Over the next four weeks, three 15-second television commercials will feature the famous little flame in a new blue setting, developed by ad agency Sid Lee. To optimize visibility, the campaign will also be adapted for print and Web advertising.
The Blue Effect represents the benefits to Québec society brought by Gaz Métro and natural gas.
