The 7 Fingers will spend summer in Québec

For the first time ever, the collective will hold three presentations in Québec this summer! What a circus this season will be!

MONTREAL, June 8 /CNW Telbec/ - It is quite a challenge to hold our presentations in Québec, especially since some producers can't always adapt to circus shows from a technical standpoint... We are always happy to export Québec culture all over the world and yet by the same token, we also feel sadness in our hearts at the thought of leaving our roots behind.

So it is with great pleasure that the 7 Fingers announce a triple presence in Québec this summer.

This coming June 17th will signal the opening of the Carnivàle Lune Bleue in Bromont, where we will present La Vie - Le Cirque de l'Au-delà. After Ottawa, the big top will settle in Bromont where the public will have to chance to see La Vie again or for the first time, while travelling into the mysterious universe of the fairgrounds. This is a must-see for the entire family this summer!

Meanwhile, TRACES returns to the Festival de Vaudreuil-Dorion on July 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 2010. Presented for the first time in Montreal five years ago and nearly 700 times throughout the world, this show is still on the road and continues to draw major crowds everywhere it goes.

Finally, the collective will hold 10 presentations of Cabaret, a special creation that will be featured at the Montréal Complètement Cirque Festival, to be held at the Olympia. The show revisits the cabarets of old, with eight circus performers, a multi instrumental musician and a jazz singer.

It is also worthy of notice that one of the collective's artistic co-directors, Ms. Shana Carroll, will individually direct Il fait dimanche, one of two shows presented by the National Circus School, starting on June 19th at the TOHU.
