No need to wait on hold as customers can talk to real live agents online
TORONTO, July 3, 2012 /CNW/ - Telehop announced today that they have introduced Live Chat feature on Telehop.com as part of their strategy to drive customer engagement and product education. A customer who goes to telehop.com will see an option to chat with a real live agent and ask questions and get assistance immediately as they are navigating the website. If a customer needs to talk to a Telehop Agent by phone they can even request an agent to call them back at a time of their choice by submitting a request on the live chat feature.

People don't like to wait on hold when calling for customer service and do not necessarily want to call if they have a quick question. Using a pound code, Canadian wireless subscribers will have even more choice when calling overseas
Telehop also announced today that they have entered into an agreement, the first of its kind in Canada, with a leading national telecommunications company, whereby mobile customers will soon be able to easily place overseas calls using Telehop's long distance services.
Simply by entering a mobile pound code, followed by the destination number, mobile customers may choose a Telehop per minute or flat rate long distance calling plan, and the charges will appear on their regular mobile invoice.
"This is a unique opportunity to take our traditional 10-10-100 and 10-10-620 calling services a step further; and with pound codes, it will be very simple for a mobile customer to use. We recognize that mobile usage is increasing and we're pleased to extend our flexible long distance plans to Canadian mobile customers," commented Rajiv Jagota, President and Chief Executive Officer, Telehop. The agreement between Telehop and the national telecommunications company is for a minimum five year term, and Telehop believes that the effect on Telehop's revenues will be significant and agreed to a minimum revenue commitment for overseas call fees of $25 million over the five year term of the contract .
