Free Golf with Donation, Efforts Benefit Children and Families in Need
DESTIN, FL, Dec. 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort today announced its very popular event, "Tee Off for Toys," to support children and families in need this holiday season.
On Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8, Sandestin will offer golf for just the green and golf car fee of $20. Golfers can play at all three of Sandestin's public championship courses, Raven Golf Club, Baytowne Golf Club and The Links Golf Club, for only a donation and the golf car fee.
Golfers are asked to donate new, unwrapped toys or gift cards with a value of $15 or more. All toys and donations will be given to Harvest House's "Hope for Holidays" and Children in Crisis programs, both benefiting children and families in need this holiday season.
"This is an event that Sandestin and golfers look forward to hosting each year. We are grateful to have the opportunity to provide much needed support to so many families this holiday season," said Rick Hileman, PGA Director of Golf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
