Graphite Software's multi-persona solution continues to reach more devices
OTTAWA, Sept. 17, 2015 /CNW/ - Graphite Software, the creator of Secure Spaces, today announces its partnership with TCL and the availability of new Idol 3 OneTouch devices from TCL designed to meet the security and privacy demands of enterprise customers and their employees.
Following a competitive technology review, TCL selected Graphite Software's Secure Spaces solution based on superior app and data isolation, ease of use and performance compared to previously deployed technologies. The new Idol 3 smartphone supports the corporate owned (COPE) and personally owned (BYOD) deployment models. With Secure Spaces, the apps and data used for company purposes can be remotely managed yet isolated entirely from the personal apps and data used by the employee. Unlike other approaches that require full device encryption, with Secure Spaces each Work Space is individually encrypted and supports separate security and password policies. The user is not forced to have a password on the Personal Space, yet the Work Space is still secure.
"Our enterprise customers are security savvy and are looking for mobile solutions that will maintain or increase their security profile," said Li Bing, Vice President Alcatel One Touch. "We provide a complete Enterprise Mobility Management solution for operators and enterprises from the servers, devices and integration services needed to deliver value. Supporting a wide range of deployment models while protecting privacy is critical."
"TCL needed a solution that meets the requirements of business and employees/consumers and works in both Google and non-Google markets." said Alec Main, CEO of Graphite Software. "With Secure Spaces, TCL has the world leading multi-persona solution for device virtualization and remote management. Secure Spaces supports a range of deployment models including COPE, CYOD, BYOD and multiple Work Spaces. "
