The scorCard Review, now in its 3rd year, is the most comprehensive analysis in North America providing an impartial assessment of mobile service and features and functionality at Canadian retail banking institutions. "We are very proud of our 2015 mobile banking review which now clearly differentiates ourselves versus other ranking firms due to the number of firms evaluated, the breadth of criteria and the fact we looked at 5 major groups of mobile devices used by Canadian retail bank customers" said Glenn LaCoste, President of Surviscor Inc. "We pride ourselves on being the voice for consumers and provide extensive, un-matched research. We congratulate Tangerine on its first Surviscor award and its commitment to its mobile applications and delivery channels to best serve its ever-changing customer needs" added Mr. LaCoste.
"With client experience at the heart of everything we do, we're proud to be recognized by Surviscor for our award-winning Mobile Banking app," said Peter Aceto, president and CEO, Tangerine. "Tangerine has had a long history of delivering simple and innovative solutions to our clients. As an everyday bank with the products and services Canadians need, we will continue to find unique ways to elevate the mobile banking experience and offer more value to our Clients."
Surviscor's proprietary scorCard methodology measures over 12,500 objective mobile usage-related criteria questions for each banking institution. The criteria were evenly distributed amongst five smartphone and tablet devices, including Apple, Android and Blackberry devices and assessed in five main categories, each weighted according to industry-defined importance.
Tangerine earned three overall category awards, with RBC Royal Bank and Scotiabank each earned individual category awards. Surviscor's next retail banking review will be the 2015 Online Banking Review, scheduled for release in January 2016.
