MONTREAL, May 22, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Supremex Inc., Canada's largest provider of stock and custom-manufactured envelopes (TSX: SXP), today announces the appointment of Stewart Emerson as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company and the appointment of a new Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Prior to his nomination, Mr. Stewart Emerson was the Vice President and General Manager - Central Region of Supremex. He began his career at Innova Envelope Inc. in 1990 (acquired by Supremex in 1991) and has since held a number of senior management positions with Supremex, including General Sales Manager and General Manager. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a double major in Marketing and Management from the Northeastern University in Boston. Mr. Emerson will work closely with the Board of Directors, to whom he will report.
Mr. George Armoyan is appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors as of May 30. Mr. Dany Paradis, formerly Chairman of the Board of Directors and Interim Chief Executive Officer, will remain as a member of the Board of Directors.
