LONDON, ON, March 8, 2018 /CNW/ - 2018 marks the end of 14 years of planning, financing, construction and implementation of HELP Clean Water, a unique regional infrastructure program designed to meet the clean water needs of more than 500,000 people living and working in Southwestern Ontario.
HELP Clean Water was made possible through the cooperation of 15 municipalities situated between Lake Huron and Lake Erie and funded by three levels of government at a total cost of $176 million.
London Mayor Matt Brown will host a celebratory event to mark the successful conclusion of this historic regional initiative.
You are invited to attend and cover this event that will highlight the fully-operational Southeast Reservoir and Pumping Station in London and two recently completed infrastructure projects at the Elgin Area Water Treatment Plant.
