Ryerson University and DiverseCity: The Greater Toronto Leadership Project Release Second Annual Research Report
TORONTO, June 7 /CNW/ -
WHAT: DiverseCity: The Greater Toronto Leadership Project and the
Diversity Institute at Ryerson University will release the
second DiverseCity Counts Report, highlighting the number of
visible minorities in senior leadership roles across the
corporate, public and nonprofit sectors in the GTA. For the
first time the report also includes a review of the news
media.
WHY: Last year's report showed that just 13 per cent of leaders
were visible minorities relative to 49.5 per cent of the
population studied. Find out what this year's report tells
us.
