Students to Meet with Justin Trudeau to Discuss Unemployment

OTTAWA, Sept. 14 /CNW Telbec/ - Students have been invited to meet with Justin Trudeau, Member of Parliament for Papineau, tomorrow to discuss the recent drastically high student unemployment rates. The Canadian Alliance of Student Associations will be meeting with Mr. Trudeau on Tuesday, September 15th. Members of the media are invited to attend at 11:00 a.m. EDT for a photo opportunity and media availability following the meeting.

Venue: 208 West Block, Parliament Hill

The unemployment rates for students were alarmingly high this summer, the highest Canada has seen since 1977, causing many students to question how they will finance their return to school this fall.

The Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit national student organization composed of 24 student associations, representing 400,000 students from coast to coast.
