MARKHAM, April 10, 2014 /CNW/ - A group of Sheridan and Seneca College students, alumni and faculty have formed a social enterprise to help business deal with Microsoft's withdrawal of Windows XP support.
SITP Social Enterprise, operating as StudentITProjects.com has developed a team of over 50 skilled system administrators, networking specialists and IT Project Managers to help business tackle XP upgrade and migration problems. After the project is scoped, a squad is made available to quickly and efficiently provide full migration services, assisted by the use of Microsoft SCCM. The group has developed and honed their skills in the past 6 months including a significant corporate upgrade project with over 2000 mission-critical XP based PCs. StudentITProjects.com is a social enterprise for the aspiring IT professional to gain real client experience while the client is able to solve real problems at very low cost and risk.
