STI Expanding to Address Evolving Challenges of Healthcare Industry
Coincides with launch of new corporate brand and image
HALIFAX, Oct 6 /CNW/ - STI, the pioneer and leader in transactional marketing solutions for the Canadian healthcare market, announced the hiring of two senior corporate account managers well known to the industry, Alan MacKeen and Dean Michelin. These new hires are fresh additions to the newly reinvented STI brand and corporate platform. The company has also unveiled a new website at www.smartsti.com to incorporate their new corporate branding and more accurately expose the breadth of the company.
From its founding where STI helped change the face of safe and efficient drug sampling, the company has leveraged its SmartTechnology platform to provide capabilities across the life cycle of the brand, including innovative solutions for patient assistance, physician experience, and loss of exclusivity. To fuel the company's growth they enlisted the help of primary care sales, specialty sales, national marketing and sales management expert Alan MacKeen. With over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry MacKeen brings the above talents along with his enthusiasm to STI.

Joining MacKeen in the new STI will be fellow long time pharma industry leader Dean Michelin. Michelin's experience of working in pharmaceutical companies combined with his experience working in health care advertising, has equipped him with the skills needed to contribute to and help grow STI both locally and nationally. After being inducted in the Canadian Healthcare Marketing Hall of fame in 2009, Michelin is excited to be challenged again and believes that STI has the fundamentals a company needs to make big changes in the Canadian healthcare industry.
