STEPHEN, NB, Aug. 29, 2019 /CNW/ - Stewart Farms Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of pharmaceutical, healthcare and cannabis industry executive Damon Goodwin as Chief Revenue Officer effective August 15, 2019. Goodwin will play an integral part generating revenue across multiple verticals as Stewart Farms establishes Canada's largest indoor aquaponics facility in St. Stephen, NB. The company is converting a 100,000 square foot former foundry into a high-tech, automated vertical farm and aquaponics facility able to produce medical grade, organic cannabis.

With deep experience in highly regulated industries, Goodwin has built innovative, lasting partnerships with governments, industry partners and private-sector businesses that foster growth and increase shareholder value.
Most recently, Goodwin worked in the international cannabis space as the VP of Revenue and Partnerships with multi-platform media company and lifestyle brand Civilized. There, he consistently exceeded corporate revenue targets by monetizing the company's digital products and events, including the annual World Cannabis Congress.
"With its environmental focus in both aquaculture and aquaponics, Stewart Farms is poised to bring to market outstanding quality in cannabis and tilapia in a way that is both sustainable and cost-effective," says Goodwin. "It's an exciting time to be involved and I'm thrilled to be in this new role."
