"Nova Scotians have chosen to re-elect a majority government led by the Nova Scotia Liberal Party.
"On behalf of the Government of Canada, I offer my sincere congratulations to Stephen McNeil who continues to have the honour and privilege to serve as Premier.
"I look forward to continuing to work closely with the provincial government to create middle class jobs through the Atlantic Growth Strategy, as well as to promote the well-being of Indigenous Peoples, and safeguard Nova Scotia's clean air and water.
"By working closely together, we will grow the industries and sectors at the heart of the province's prosperity, promote clean growth, and protect our environment for generations to come."
