Square selects energi PR as Canadian Public Relations Agency of Record

First international PR agency to be hired by the San Francisco-based company

TORONTO, Jan. 30, 2014 /CNW/ - Square, the company making commerce easy for everyone, has just named energi PR as its Canadian public relations agency of record; its first hire of a PR firm in an international market outside the US. The San Francisco-based technology company has partnered with energi PR to help support the company's aggressive growth strategy and brand communications in Canada.

From a revolutionary card reader to back office tools, Square was the first company to introduce a flat, transparent rate for all credit cards, eliminate fixed per-transaction fees, and institute next day business deposits for customers.
