TORONTO, Jan. 10, 2018 /CNW/ - Sphere Investment Management Inc. announces the following exchange ratio in connection with the mergers of Sphere FTSE Asia Sustainable Yield Index ETF (SHA) and Sphere FTSE US Sustainable Yield Index ETF (SHU) into Sphere FTSE Canada Sustainable Yield Index ETF (SHC), as approved at special meetings of unitholders of the merging funds on December 11, 2017.
Pursuant to the mergers, each holder of SHA will automatically receive 1.015327 units of SHC for each unit of SHA held and each holder of SHU will automatically receive .925575 units of SHC for each unit of SHU held on the effective date of the mergers, being January 11, 2018.
All units of the merged funds will be delisted at the close of trading on January 11, 2018. Unitholders of SHA and SHU are not required to take any action in order to become unitholders of SHC.
Following the mergers, the manager and trustee of SHC, Sphere FTSE Europe Sustainable Yield Index ETF and Sphere FTSE Emerging Markets Sustainable Yield Index ETF will change from Sphere Investment Management Inc. to Evolve Funds Group Inc. on or before January 15, 2018, all as further described in the information circular available at www.sedar.com and www.sphereetfs.com.
