OTTAWA, Oct. 23 /CNW Telbec/ - On Monday, 26 October 2009, Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of Canada, will speak to the Autorité des marchés financiers.

    Lock-up:           At 7:25 (Eastern Time), copies of the speech will be
                       made available to journalists, under embargo, at a
                       lock-up to be held at the Bank's head office in
                       Ottawa. The embargo will be lifted at 08:55 (Eastern
