Spectra7 announces upsizing of previously announced public offering of units to $7,000,000

TORONTO and PALO ALTO, CA, March 21, 2014 /CNW/ - (TSX-V:SEV) Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. ("Spectra7" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has agreed with Canaccord Genuity Corp., the lead agent and sole book-running manager (the "Agent") of its previously announced best efforts agency public offering of units (the "Offering") to increase the size of the Offering to $7,000,000. The remaining terms of the Offering are unchanged.

The Offering is scheduled to close on or about March 28, 2014. The Offering is subject to a number of conditions, including, without limitation, receipt of all regulatory approvals and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the proposed Offering may be completed. The Company has applied to list the Warrants on the TSX Venture Exchange. The Offering will be made by way of a short form prospectus in each of the provinces of Canada, except Québec. The net proceeds are expected to be used to repay indebtedness, as cash for operations to address the Company's working capital deficit and the balance for research and development and general corporate purposes.
