Sparx Hockey Partners With Toronto Goaltender Garret Sparks
Calder Cup Champion To Be Featured In Fast-Growing Hockey Brand's Marketing Campaigns
ACTON, Mass., Aug. 16, 2018 /CNW/ -- Sparx Hockey, inventors of the innovative Sparx Skate Sharpener, today announced it has partnered with Toronto Marlies goaltender Garret Sparks to help promote the company's products throughout the United States and Canada.
Sparks, who guided the Marlies to the 2018 Calder Cup Championship, was named the American Hockey League's top goaltender this season and is considered to be one of the top goaltenders in the Toronto Maple Leafs organization. This past year, Sparks finished the regular season with a 31-9-1 record and a 1.79 goals against average, and in the Calder Cup playoffs Sparks compiled a 14-5-0 record with a 2.22 goals against average.
