A Deletion from the S&P/TSX Global Mining Index
TORONTO, April 25, 2017 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Indices Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:
The shareholders of Stillwater Mining Company (NYSE:SWC) have accepted the $US18.00 cash per share takeover offer from Sibanye Gold Limited (NYSE:SBGL). The shares of Stillwater Mining will be removed from the S&P/TSX Global Mining Index prior to the open of trading on Friday, April 28, 2017. The stock will be removed at the lesser of $US18.00 or the last traded price of Stillwater on NYSE.
