A Share Issuance from Manulife Financial Corporation
TORONTO, Feb. 2, 2015 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:
Manulife Financial Corporation (TSX:MFC) has announced the conversion into common shares of outstanding subscription receipts issued as part of the acquisition of the Canadian-based operations of Standard Life plc. To reflect this share issuance, the relative weight of Manulife will increase in the S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX 60, 60 ESG and 60 Capped, the S&P/TSX Capped Financials and the S&P/TSX Composite Dividend Index after the close of trading on Monday, February 9, 2015. There will be no relative weight change for Manulife in the S&P/TSX Composite Equal Weight or the S&P/TSX 60 Equal Weight Indices as a result of this share issuance.
