Southland Mall is Planning a Holiday Season with Emphasis on Community Engagement and Supporting Families in Need
REGINA, Oct. 16, 2018 /CNW/ - Southland Mall is excited to share with the community its plans to turn this Holiday Season into an exciting and meaningful experience at the Centre and to spread the holiday cheer. This year, in lieu of the Santa Parade, Southland Mall will be focusing on community engagement and will welcome the entire Regina community to our Centre, to celebrate and support charitable initiatives. We will decorate, celebrate, welcome Santa and create a memorable and magical adventure for everyone.
"It has been a tough and emotional decision to shift the marketing focus of the Centre, but we truly believe focusing on the community, local charities, and giving back to families in need is an extremely meaningful and important initiative. Focusing on grassroots charitable support is an integral part of the Strathallen platform across the country. Southland Mall is the heart of its community and as such we have a legacy to support and enhance it." – Richard Dillabaugh, Regional Property Manager, Southland Mall
Although Southland Mall will not host the Santa Parade this year, we hope to have all of our community partners that previously participated in the parade, on board with us to assist in this transition and focus our efforts on supporting families in need across the City of Regina. Please get in touch with us to discuss various opportunities to collaborate during the Holiday Season.
