LAWRENCE, MA, Dec. 4 /CNW Telbec/ - Solectria Renewables LLC today announced a strategic agreement naming SunRise Power Corp. of Ontario as its manufacturing partner of grid-tied photovoltaic inverters. With this agreement, Solectria Renewables will be able to strengthen its global supply chain and ensure substantial capacity to meet customer requirements.
SunRise Power Corp. specializes in the manufacture of electrical components and operates a modern facility in Peterborough Ontario. In addition, SunRise Power manufactures racking systems for solar arrays and is set up to distribute its products to the growing PV industry. Building on the strengths of both companies, Solectria and SunRise Power will collaborate under the new agreement to build, deliver and service grid-tied photovoltaic inverters for solar opportunities.

Ontario's feed-in tariff or FIT program is a first for North America. The program as implemented by the Ontario Power Authority offers a guaranteed pricing structure for renewable electricity production to both home owners and businesses. The program by design will stimulate economic growth and create new green industries and jobs for Ontario.
