Softrock Minerals announces addition of Michele Stanners to Board of Directors

CALGARY, Dec. 12, 2015 /CNW/ - Softrock Minerals Ltd. ("Softrock" or the "Company") (SFT-TSXV) is pleased to announce the election of Michele Stanners to its board of directors at its annual meeting of shareholders.  Ms. Stanners brings to Softrock over 20 years of experience in leadership, branding and development.  She holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of Alberta, as well as a Masters in Theological Studies from Harvard.

The Honourable Nick Taylor, President and CEO of Softrock, said "We are pleased that Ms. Stanners has joined the Board, as her experience and contacts will be an asset to the Company as we look for expansion projects after recording a profit the last three quarters."

In connection with her election to the board, Ms. Stanners has been granted options to purchase 200,000 common shares of Softrock at price of $0.05 per share.
