SODEVA, European leader in ultrasonic food cutting, based on two industrial
success in Quebec, opens in Montreal its North American branch SodevAmerica

MONTREAL, Dec. 2 /CNW Telbec/ - The SODEVA Group designs and manufactures ultrasonic slicing equipment for cheese, meat, and pastry industries.

Its goal is to develop its sales in Canada by hiring engineers for local technical support, and eventually open an assembly and production site.

SODEVA is experiencing a very strong growth thanks to its innovations in meat cutting, and 3D visualization for fixed weight cutting at high speed.

This technology allows perfect clean cutting of extremely fragile and / or sticky products, and substantial operating and maintenance savings, for a very fast payback.

SODEVA just commissioned for Lactalis, one of the world biggest cheese producer, a slicer with 3D-vision that cuts at fixed weight cheese wheels to a few thousandths of a pound, at 10 wheels per minute, which according to Lactalis managers themselves, is a world premiere at this level of accuracy and speed.

An invaluable benefit of ultrasounds is the ability to automatically clean the blade in a simple water bath, and kill all bacteria in a split of a second, thereby avoiding cross-contamination due to the blade.
