SkyeConnex Appoints Former Microsoft CVP Brad Anderson to Its Board of Directors

The Microsoft leader who drove the acquisition of Ross Norrie's AssetMetrix in 2006 reunites with him as SkyeConnex brings Data Sovereignty as a Service to market.

OTTAWA, ON, Oct. 6, 2026 /CNW/ -- SkyeConnex, the Data Sovereignty as a Service (DSaaS) company, today announced the appointment of Brad Anderson to its Board of Directors. Anderson is a former Microsoft Corporate Vice President and later President of Products, User Experience and Engineering at Qualtrics.

In 2006, Anderson drove Microsoft's acquisition of AssetMetrix, the IT SaaS platform Ross Norrie founded, which became a foundation of Microsoft Intune. Norrie saw where the market was going and built for it. Anderson turned it into a global business. Twenty years later, Norrie has architected the answer to the next question, who actually controls our data, and Anderson is back to help take it to market.

Governments and regulators around the world now tell organizations to assume breach. SkyeConnex makes sure no single provider, government or insider can read or control an organization's data.

Anderson is known for picking the right leaders and getting them to perform beyond what they thought possible. On the board, he will focus on go-to-market strategy, priority setting, strategic introductions, execution governance and talent.
