SITKA BOOKS & ART GRAND OPENING - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2nd

VANCOUVER, Sept. 30 /CNW/ - Sitka Books & Art Ltd announced today its grand opening celebration on October 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 2025 West 4th Ave in Kitsilano. The store opened its doors for business on Sept. 18th. The celebration on Oct. 2nd is to express appreciation for the support of the community that has helped make this happen and for the loyalty of customers who support independent bookstores. The celebration will include door prizes, snacks and a chance to meet the staff.

Ria Bleumer, manager and co-owner of Sitka Books & Art, managed Duthie Books for sixteen years and has hired experienced staff who enjoy providing high levels of customer service. In addition to a wide selection of titles on the shelves, Sitka Books & Art carries local arts and crafts from members of the B.C. Crafts Council.
