Robust IDentity 5200 enhances flexibility of installation
TORONTO and IBTTA Exhibition, CHICAGO, Sept. 14 /CNW/ - Sirit Inc. ("Sirit") (TSX: SI), a global provider of radio frequency identification ("RFID") technology today introduces the latest addition to its IDentity series of high performance, fixed position, UHF RFID readers, the IDentity 5200 ("ID5200").
The new ID5200 is a ruggedized, multi-protocol RFID reader, providing increased flexibility in configuration options for the user. Designed for various automatic vehicle identification applications, including electronic tolling, traffic management and electronic vehicle registration, it provides similar performance to Sirit's leading ID5100 reader with the added capability of being deployed across various points and positions throughout a road infrastructure. The reader can accommodate two lanes simultaneously while providing for multi-protocol operations. The new reader is available for order now with delivery in the fourth quarter of 2009.
"We listened to our customers and incorporated their experiences and comments into the design and performance characteristics for this new reader. The ID5200 offers users increased options in terms of ease of integration, configuration, maintenance and support while dealing with complex, outdoor road infrastructure environments. We are excited to add to our expanding product line of high performance, reliable, RFID readers," commented John Freund, Vice President Sales, Sirit.
Please visit the Sirit booth, No. 1019, at the IBTTA show in Chicago, Illinois from September 13-15, 2009 to see this next generation ID5200 reader.
