VANCOUVER, Oct. 2, 2012 /CNW/ - Silver Predator Corp. (TSX:SPD) announces the close of a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of $1,054,600. A total of 5,858,889 units were issued at a price of $0.18 per unit with each unit consisting of one common share and one half of one non-transferable share purchase warrant. Each full warrant (the "Unit Warrants") entitles the holder to acquire an additional common share at a price of $0.28 until December 31, 2013.
In connection with the private placement, the Company paid finders' fees of $13,700.
All securities issued pursuant to this private placement are subject to a trading hold period expiring on February 3, 2013.
The proceeds from the private placement will be used for exploration of the Company's properties and for general corporate purposes.
