Shaping Tomorrow's Health: Sanofi Canada Recognized as One of Canada's Top 100 Employers

MONTREAL, Nov. 9, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Sanofi Canada is proud to announce that it has been named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers by a prestigious annual competition that recognizes the nation's best places to work. The competition is managed by Mediacorp Canada Inc. and the complete listing of top 100 companies is published by the Globe and Mail.

Sanofi Canada was selected from thousands of entrants for its outstanding commitment to its employees, who work at the Laval (Quebec) head office and various other sites across the country. Judges evaluated the company against criteria that included its physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.

Beginning in May, the company's employees participated in the 100-day Global Corporate Challenge (GCC) to meet the World Health Organization's (WHO) active lifestyle recommendation of walking 10,000 steps per day.

All employees are considered for a variety of financial incentives, ranging from performance bonuses to rewards for referring new hires, as they grow and evolve within the company.

Today's announcement follows the company's designation as one of Montreal's Top Employers in February 2014.
