BALTIMORE, MD, Oct. 8, 2014 /CNW/ - After successfully launching in Pennsylvania, SFE Energy (SFE) has continued its expansion throughout the Northeastern United States with the recent introduction of its natural gas and electricity Fixed Price Protection Programs offered to residential and commercial consumers in Maryland. SFE has also been granted natural gas and electricity licenses from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities ("NJ BPU") in August 2014. SFE plans to offer its natural gas and electricity Fixed Price Protection Programs to New Jersey residents towards the end of 2014.
With SFE, consumers in Maryland are now able to lock-in at a fixed price for their energy supply and protect themselves from fluctuating local utility rates. Residential SFE customers may also take advantage of an introductory price on the first two months of their program with the potential for cash-back (if cost savings are not realized) and green energy through the SFE Green Energy Program.
"SFE and its affiliates are building on our success and experience in New York and Pennsylvania to expand and bring natural gas and electricity Fixed Price Protection Programs to Maryland and New Jersey. Offering energy-conscious consumers with affordable and reliable fixed rates, SFE programs are designed to serve and benefit both residential and commercial consumers by providing them with peace-of-mind and complete security for their energy budget," said Gerry Haggarty, President of SFE.
