Sears Unveils New Hometown Store in Chase, BC

The Chase Hometown Store Presents $500 Donation to the Chase Secondary School Parent Advisory Council

CHASE, BC, Sept. 16 /CNW/ - Sears Canada today opened a new Hometown Store in Chase, BC as part of its commitment to offering customers more service, selection and convenience. The store is located at 709 Shuswap Avenue and is owned and operated by Bill Long. The new 2500 sq ft. store will house a wide selection of major appliances, hardware, furniture, electronics, and seasonal items, including Sears exclusive brands Kenmore and Craftsman.

"We are personally committed to accommodating our customers' wants and needs and providing them with an enjoyable and satisfying shopping experience," says Long. "Customers will be delighted with the broad range of top-quality products Sears has provided for the new store."

While the Hometown Store is locally owned and operated, all merchandise sold is supported by Sears satisfaction guarantee, as well as Sears extensive Parts and Service Division, the largest service network in Canada.  In addition, the store features Sears and third party credit card acceptance. Sears has installed systems that enable purchases made through the Hometown Store to be reserved immediately and delivery dates arranged according to each customer's preference.

In celebration of the Chase store opening, Bill Long will be presenting a $500 cheque from the Sears in Your Community program to the store's local charitable partner, Chase Secondary School Parent Advisory Council. Sears in Your Community initiatives provide support to children and youth in communities across Canada under the umbrella of two succinct and worthy causes: Children's Cancer Charities and After-School Programming.

The dealer store is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
