COLLEGE PARK, Ga., April 2, 2015 /CNW/ -- Scholle Chemical has announced the launch of a major rebranding effort and will now be known as Alchemix Corporation.
For nearly 70 years, the Scholle Chemical business has been a mainstay in nitrocellulose solutions, specialty chemical solutions, and bag-in-box acid sales for the North American marketplace. Over its history the company has been at the forefront of development and production of solutions for over-the-counter wart removers and liquid bandages, paints, printing inks, adhesives, and coatings.
"In recent years, our business has found a powerful niche managing nitrocellulose-based solutions for customers in healthcare and beauty care markets. Our focus on quality manufacturing and our chemists' ability to develop customized solutions has set us apart," said Fred Schneider, General Manager of Alchemix. "We create seemingly simple solutions for customers who rely on a partner willing to deal with the all the complexities. We're one of the few doing this and it's why we felt a rebrand was in order. We're just doing so much more than in the past."
Commenting on the visual brand identity, Mike Duesenberg, Manager of Brand Design for Scholle Corporation, the parent company of Alchemix, explained, "Alchemix and its brand is about taking something complex and transforming it into something simple; something more valuable. When you see our brand, you know what it means, regardless of the complexities of shape and line used to make the imagery possible. This is really what the team at Alchemix does on a daily basis for their customers."
Alchemix has launched a new website, www.alchemix.com, which explains more about the company's core competencies and how customers can expect to partner with the new brand. The business will also have a booth at the Specialty & Agro Chemicals America show this September in Charleston, South Carolina.
No matter how big or small your chemical challenges, at Alchemix our nitrocellulose experts will find your solution. Our chemists craft seemingly simple solutions for everything from topical health, beauty and personal care products, to printing inks, coatings, pyrotechnics, electrolyte-grade sulfuric acid, and adhesives—all from the safety of our UL-certified, FDA-registered chemical mixing facility in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
