The .CA team seeks projects that help build a better online Canada
OTTAWA, Jan. 11, 2016 /CNW/ - The .CA Community Investment Program announced today that the next application period for funding will open on January 20th. The program will make $1 million in funding available to Canadian registered charities, non-profit organizations and academic researchers.
Application materials will be available online at cira.ca/cip the morning of January 20, 2016.
The .CA Community Investment Program is the only funding body in Canada that targets Internet issues specifically. The program funds projects that address Internet infrastructure, online services, academic research, and digital literacy.
Since launching in 2014, the .CA Community Investment Program has delivered $2.2 million in funding to more than 50 projects across Canada.
