SASKATOON, SK, May 1, 2013 /CNW/ - Yesterday marked the official end of the 3-month long sponsorship campaign, and World Vision thanks the residents of Saskatchewan for their overwhelming desire to transform the lives of children globally.
Just One Child launched throughout the province this past February, with the goal of finding sponsors for 2,000 children around the world. Not only was the goal met, but it was surpassed with a total of 2,450 children sponsored.

"Thanks to their incredible generosity, thousands of kids will not only have access to life's basic necessities, but will also have a chance at a better future."
As a long-term solution to poverty, the funds provided by individual sponsorships are combined with other Canadian sponsorships in the community to give children and their family access to necessities including:
For just $39 a month, over 16,000 Saskatchewanians are now sponsoring more than 22,000 children globally.
