Business analytics provider focuses regional growth on optimizing
clients' business performance
TORONTO, Nov. 25 /CNW/ - SAS, the leader in business analytics software and services, announced today that Mario Ianniciello, Vice President, Sales, SAS Canada, has appointed Daniel Mercier to the position of Sales Director, Eastern Region.
In his new role, Mercier will be responsible for sales initiatives in markets such as the Province of Quebec, Ottawa (including Federal Government) and the Atlantic provinces. Leveraging the power of SAS(R) Business Analytics solutions, which optimize organizational processes and decision making and provide a measurable return on investment, he will direct the eastern sales teams in addressing client business challenges and opportunities.

Prior to joining SAS, Mercier held sales management roles at leading organizations based in Quebec, including: AT&T, Apple Canada, Compaq and Hewlett-Packard. Daniel is a graduate of Mcgill University and holds a BA in Organizational Psychology, as well as a diploma in Human Sciences from Collège de Maisonneuve.
