Sakto Corporation Sponsors Irish-Canadian Event to Benefit Local Healthcare Charity

OTTAWA, Ontario, March 7, 2016 /CNW/ -- Sakto Corporation, a real estate holding and investment firm based in Ottawa, is sponsoring the Irish-Canadian Saint Patrick's Week Luncheon to raise funds for the Bruyère Foundation, which provides healthcare and services for the vulnerable and medically complex. The event will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Heart & Crown Irish Pub on Preston Street.

"Every year, for over a decade, our company has sponsored this great fundraising event," said Sean Murray, President of Sakto Corporation. "As a first generation Irish Canadian, I enjoy being able to spend the time around Saint Patrick's Day celebrating Irish culture and heritage while helping out a wonderful cause."

Last year the event raised much-needed funds to support a Canadian individual and his family as he was awaiting a heart transplant and unable to work.

Sakto Corporation is also sponsoring Ottawa Irish Festival's Saint Patrick's Day Parade on March 19, 2016. "I'm proud to be an Irish Canadian and part of a wonderful group in Ottawa that celebrates and supports the Irish-Canadian culture and heritage," noted Sean Murray.
