Saipem officially opens the new indoor fabrication yard in Edmonton

A unique facility to maximize performance and efficiency all the year around, providing a safer working environment.

EDMONTON, Nov. 19, 2013 /CNW/ - Today Saipem has officially opened its new Edmonton Fabrication Yard in Canada.

The indoor fabrication facility is unique in North America and particularly in  Alberta. It will allow Saipem to accelerate projects delivery by maintaining its workforce activity also during inclement weather, providing also the necessary safe working environment.

The yard is located in northeast of Edmonton and includes almost 20,000m² of covered facilities capable to execute prefabrication of plants components and pipes and the assembly of modules for a number of different projects of the oil and gas market, including liquefied natural gas and power generation.
