Rutter Awarded Standing Offer for Heavy Civil Engineering

ST. JOHN'S , Oct. 26 /CNW/ - Today, Rutter Inc. (TSX: RUT) announced that its Engineering business unit has been awarded a three year standing offer agreement by Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) for engineering services for heavy civil engineering projects in Newfoundland and Labrador. Total value of the work on individual projects which may be awarded under the standing offer is estimated at $1,500,000 over the three years.

Stephen Chaytor, General Manager of Rutter Engineering, said "we are very pleased to be one of the three companies selected by the Federal Government to provide engineering services for these PWGSC projects in the Province. When we're called up for a specific project our team will be more than capable of providing the depth of experience needed for those heavy civil construction projects" he concluded.

Individual projects to be awarded under this standing offer agreement will predominately be for roadwork, bridges and other heavy civil projects but will not generally include marine related projects. Rutter has an additional existing standing offer agreement in place with PWGSC for engineering services for wharves, breakwaters and other marine infrastructure projects with a total value of $750,000 over two years.
