Rousing of Hope Inspires Ottawa Child Welfare Workers

OTTAWA , Oct. 27 /CNW Telbec/ - Experts in the field of Social Work Dr. Dennis Saleebey and Dr. Ann Weick will speak to over 300 child welfare and community workers to discuss the value of a Strengths Perspective in working with individuals, families and the community. In a message of hope, the guests will explore the promise, capacities, courage, and resiliency that can be found in everyone. As a symbol of this view and as a symbol of hope Hilary McNamee, one of the five cyclists injured this summer in a spectacular crash in Ottawa , will be attending the event. Ms. McNamee is also a student of Social Work at Carleton University.
